Please welcome Bunny to the Joiner Hug-A-Bull Highland cow family! While Sage is a quality cow, she was not the right cow for our farm. She will do best as a range cow with a large herd. So the amazing breeders we bought her from agreed to let us bring her back and trade for Bunny! 🐰 Bunny was born on Easter 2024 hence her name we are happily keeping. She won’t be ready to AI until spring of next year for a 2027 baby. In the meantime, Bunny is halter trained and trained to tie!! So I’m going to have loads of fun getting to continue that training so she is the best momma cow and stays easy to handle as she gets older. Bunny has already enjoyed a good brushing and stood like a statue enjoying it all. She is going to be one pampered cow!

Ebony’s shelter blew about 100 feet in a bad storm. Fortunately we had a spare metal top as that part was not usable and the brand new canvas top survived. We now have it in a higher spot for flooding and it has t-posts it’s secured to on all four sides.

Doesn’t she look just so regal?!! Love her ❤️❤️
