Last Saturday Ebony was showing some signs of being in heat. This is significant because for months I have been checking her twice a day every day for all the typical signs to no avail. Without a bull, it’s hard but when you have a cow that doesn’t present normal heat cycles to you it’s even harder. One of the biggest tips was she was mooing excessively that morning which never happens. So I called my neighbor who is skilled with AI and bless her, she came and did it for us! We did it again that night just to be sure we hit the window (as the window for ovulation is very narrow). Ebony was a champ both times and it went as smooth as it can be.

So now I would like to ask for positive thoughts that Ebony took. We will know 30 days from insemination when i test her. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
