Not to worry, the ball was a temporary play toy experiment I thought I would try under supervision only. I’m aware the horns could have got stuck in the holes. Tomorrow is Bunny’s birthday so I was looking for a fun treat for her. Alas, they were disinterested in it. Ebony did something very sweet tonight and asked me to give her scratches and loving on her own. Leaning in and almost giving me a cow hug. I really felt her need for attention tonight which made me feel good as usual it’s me going to her, bribing her with treats.

Ebony had her vet appointment today. It was just an overall herd health visit so we have an established relationship and I can also get some prescription medication when needed. I went ahead and had them do another blood draw and they responded back with the following.!

 “Hello again! Great to meet y'all today! Ebony and Bunny are wonderful. We know it was a whirlwind appointment (we love to impart as much knowledge as we can, but it can be overwhelming), so feel free to ask further questions. Next bit of great news - Ebony is confirmed pregnant!”

We already had the first positive blood results 30 days after breeding indicating she was pregnant, but it’s just reassuring to know that she remains pregnant!! looking forward to June even more now!

Oh, and a side note, the vet also said that they both look to be in great condition. Ebony is not overweight. She does have some extra fat but feels when the baby is in its last trimester, she is really gonna need that extra fat anyway. She said to keep doing what I’m doing. So that made me feel good.
