Staying organized can be tough for anyone, especially for people with ADHD.

The good news? Small, realistic goals and a few smart strategies can make a big difference.

💡 Break tasks into small steps
🕑 Use a timer or music playlist to stay on track
📦 Label boxes: “stays here,” “belongs somewhere else” and “not sure yet”
✨ Celebrate progress, even the little wins!

A little structure goes a long way. Start small and build from there. 💪

“Arlan would be so proud of where things are today. The dedication to trauma, the new Independence Center and focusing on behavioral health are just a few of those reasons.”

This week looked a little different in our pediatric rehab space, in the best way.

A few incredible kids celebrated Halloween in their costumes while continuing their care with courage and joy.

Their strength, spirit and smiles brighten our days and remind us why this work matters. We’re honored to be part of their journey.

We all know garlic makes everything taste amazing…

But did you know it’s also full of vitamins A, C, and B complex? Or that it may also help you with blood pressure and cholesterol?

So go ahead, add that extra clove, your heart (and your taste buds) will thank you later🧄✨

Last season, Grace, a libero on the Seward High School volleyball team, suffered a concussion after being hit in the temple by a ball during practice. She experienced light sensitivity, headaches, dizziness and low energy.

With support from her athletic trainer, Grant Ridder, Grace safely followed a structured return-to-play protocol with these 4 steps:
🚴 Stationary bike
🏃‍♀️ Running
🏐 Volleyball drills
💪 Full practice

Each step required zero symptoms before moving forward. In just 10 days, Grace was back on the court – stronger than ever. Her advice to fellow athletes: “Follow the protocol. You do not want to risk missing more of your season due to an injury.”

Athletic trainer, Grant Ridder, shares more about concussions in his newest podcast, listen now: https://bit.ly/49nIG2e

Congratulations to Liz Cabrera, Nurse Manager, on receiving the Daisy Nurse Leader Award.

Here is what a team member had to say about Liz in their nomination:

"Prior to starting in our unit, our unit was broken. We were extremely short staffed, and we didn’t have any leadership. Since Liz has started, she has been nothing short of amazing. She includes everyone the best that she can, listens to staff and advocates for us on every level. For me personally, she has been the best leader I have ever worked under. Her dedication to us as individuals and as a team is unwavering and speaks volumes to who she is as a person. Currently, our unit is going through hardships with one of our other beloved team members and Liz has been the biggest advocate and support for our team, pushing through her own pain to ensure that our team member is cared for as best she can. She has updated us as much as she can to keep us informed and included. It is rare to find an amazing leader that you want to stay and work under and because of that, I want to nominate her for this award. It does not even begin to describe my gratitude, but it’s a start."

Thank you for being helpful and welcoming, Liz! We are proud of you. The Daisy Nurse Leader Award is an annual award that recognizes outstanding nurses in leadership at Bryan.
