The Animal Neurology Center will be closed for emergencies this weekend. Dr. Wininger is lecturing to veterinarians at the VMX conference in Orlando, FL and will return for Monday appointments. We pride ourselves on our availability and appreciate your understanding for this rare weekend closure.

Ever seen an MRI room in construction? This is radio frequency shielding. The MRI creates a magnetic field and then uses noise to alter water/proton position to make diagnostic images. The shield prevent unwanted sounds from getting in that would create image artifacts. Magnetic shields are completely different and function to prevent the magnetic field created by an mri from affecting fields outside the room mostly for safety (like hurting pacemakers). Our complete install is coming soon!
