We were recently contacted by a client who was battling feelings of sadness and anxiety. They often engaged in negative self-talk and self-blame due to their struggle with procrastination and a lack of motivation. Understanding the client's needs, we started implementing techniques from Internal Family Systems and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. We aimed to help them perceive their inner child as an innocent being in need of encouragement. This approach offered them a fresh perspective, bringing a positive change in their emotional wellbeing. Our therapies proved useful in easing their battle against anxiety and self-distigmatization.
