This is more than just art. It’s personal. 💜

Our Memory Care residents at Creve Coeur Assisted Living and Memory Care, a proud member of the Spectrum Retirement senior living communities family, created this Artbrella as a tribute to their journey with Alzheimer’s and memory loss.

When we said “Artbrella,” they said “raining cats and dogs”—and that’s exactly what we brought to life. 🐱🐶 Inspired by a love for animals and a clever play on words, our residents imagined a world where the sky pours down their favorite furry friends. They worked together all month long, turning an idiom into art, and filling every panel with joy, creativity, and community.

They’re participating in the campaign to support Alzheimer's Association and raise awareness through creativity. We’re currently competing to win our region and advance to the Final Four — and we need your help.

Our residents at Creve Coeur are pouring their creativity into every detail, and we can't wait to reveal these masterpieces at our end-of-month art show.
Watching these ideas transform from imagination to umbrella has been a joyful (and colorful!) journey.

Step back in time? Don’t mind if we do!
We had a blast exploring the Historical Village at Faust Park—where we toured beautifully preserved buildings from all around St. Louis.

From Schoolhouse #4 to the Conway House and Mertz Cabin, each stop gave us a glimpse into how people lived, learned, and built community in generations past.

A day full of curiosity, connection, and a whole lot of “Wow, I never knew that!” moments.

This week, we created our own watermelon coasters, and we’re obsessed with how they turned out.

Our Mad Potters Garden Club is growing strong—literally!
We’ve been learning all about spider plants: from tiny sprouts to thriving adult plants that keep giving back. We’ve repotted, propagated, and painted beautiful pots to share with our new neighbors. It’s more than gardening—it’s connection, care, and a whole lot of joy. 🌱

We can’t get enough of this heartfelt Valentine’s celebration! 🎶❤️ One of our communities took the season of love to the next level with Singing Love-O-Grams! 🎤✨ Dressed to impress in a bold red tux, their Director of Entertainment & Programming, Jim, delivered serenades, roses, and sweet treats to residents and team members. 🌹🍫

Even better? Each Love-O-Gram supported the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, spreading love while making a difference. 💜 Now that’s how you redefine Valentine’s Day!
