We are enjoying our recent spa upgrade with the addition of our Silverfox America electric massage bed, which has increased our clients comfort while they relax during their spa services. Allowing us to adjust the table to their needs instead of a one-size-fits-all standard massage bed!

From the Lira Clinical Education Team Blog post - Hyperpigmentation and Melasma: What are they?
You are on vacation and are doing everything right:
You are completely covered from head-to-toe in broad spectrum (hopefully reef-safe) sun protection.
You have a hat on, you are donned in SPF rated clothing, you are under a beach umbrella/cabana/any form of shade.
And yet, you head indoors, pass by a mirror and notice pigment spots! (scratching head)

July is blisteringly hot in the Northern hemisphere (this year especially) and that is perhaps the reason it has been deemed Hyperpigmentation and Melasma Awareness Month. Though the main contributor, we have been conditioned to blame the sun for all our uneven pigment woes, which isn’t exactly fair. Though UV rays do initiate the melanocyte mechanism (our body’s natural defense method), heat is also a culprit in reminding old pigment to resurface.

We also carry Lira Clinical products to help prevent, but also treat these conditions.

May is skin cancer awareness month! Everyone should keep this in mind but especially those of us at high elevation where the UV index is always high! Please use SPF, hats or other protective clothing, plus ensure you are hydrated too! Don’t forget to also use a SPF chapstick or other lip care product.

Due to client requests we have now added chair massages - three options: express @15 min, the lunch time @30 min, and the standard @45 minutes. These can be done in the spa or even down in the parlor if you so desire.
