Marion Pharmacy was supposed to integrate to Pioneer Rx on January 17th. Due to the snow storm that weekend we decided to postpone our installation to February 18th for no interruptions.

What this means….

•Text message alerts are no longer working. They are in the process of being in house with Pioneer software…you will be alerted when this is available.

•Wait times may be a bit longer

•If your prescription is more than 2 weeks old in will call, our IVR may say it is too soon if you call it in for a refill. Talk to one of our staff to confirm

•your prescription labels may look a bit different along with your patient education.

This is definitely a tedious process and the transition to a new pharmacy software is not only to benefit our Pharmacy but to benefit our customers.

What I can say about our staff. They are amazing and have been working tirelessly learning how to navigate through this. PLEASE be patient with all of us.

Next week on Tuesday the 27th,we will be going live with a new pharmacy software system.Although we may be anxious, and this may be tedious, we feel this is the best move for our pharmacy and customers. We are excited for what this new technology and change will bring. Please be understanding, kind, and patient with our staff as we undergo these great changes.
