Thank you so much for the kind words and for allowing MidCoast Medical- Crockett to host this month’s Mid-Morning Coffee! We truly enjoyed having everyone and appreciate the opportunity to connect with such an amazing group. These gatherings are wonderful to see our community come together to share, support, and grow. We are grateful to be part of such a special Chamber!
What an incredible turnout at this month’s Mid-Morning Coffee! We are so grateful to our wonderful host, MidCoast Medical, for the warm hospitality and the delicious spread of coffee and snacks that made for such a welcoming atmosphere.
One of the highlights of these gatherings is hearing from our amazing members, and this month did not disappoint!
We enjoyed updates from Kim and Jacky with Vital Caring Hospice, who shared more about their compassionate services and support for families.
Carolyn with Yellow Rose Gallery told us about their unique shop featuring creations from 16 local artists. They also invite the community to come in and paint ceramics for just $3 per hour, along with offering fun classes like glass ornament and candle making.
Joe Martin introduced Kid & Kaboodle magazine, offering a great opportunity for businesses to share their story through full-page advertising—just like Jessica & Ricardo Hayes with Merry Scoops has done.
We also heard from Tricia with Prepare2Fly, a nonprofit many know from her early days as the “shoe lady” with Solemates. Her organization has grown into a powerful resource focused on mentoring youth, offering leadership classes, and providing scholarships for both students and educators. With a background in education, Tricia continues to expand her reach across the region through workshops and outreach. (If you'd like to contribute prizes for her Singo Bingo that's held at Stesti in Lovelady, we will happily help collect those items for her at the Chamber)
Karen with Luminos Hospice shared about the independently owned business and its focus on providing quality of life and compassionate care during life’s final stages.
Brisa with The Kalin’s Center reminded us that April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and highlighted the importance of community involvement and awareness.
Danielle with Bella – Gifts from the Heart invited everyone to celebrate their 23rd Anniversary this weekend during the DCA Sip & Shop event—what an exciting milestone!
And last but certainly not least, we had the pleasure of hearing from Nancy, our newest Chamber member, who recently opened her professional hair design shop. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Chamber family!
These gatherings are such a special time for connection, collaboration, and community. We are truly grateful for all of our members who attend, share, and support one another.
A big thank you as well to our incredible Ambassadors, who are always there with a helping hand and a welcoming smile!
