Hi everyone! I’m Shanita, the owner of Connected Communities for Behavioral Wellness (CCBW). I’m a mental health consultant, program developer, and passionate advocate for creating accessible, compassionate, and culturally responsive mental and behavioral health services.

I started CCBW with a vision to fill the gaps in care that so many individuals and families experience. Whether I’m building programs, partnering with schools, supporting agencies, or working directly with clients, my mission is always the same: to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal.

At CCBW, we believe wellness is a community effort—and we’re dedicated to providing high-quality services like therapy, medication management, PRP, trainings, and innovative wellness experiences that truly meet people where they are.

In a world that feels increasingly heavy, chaotic, and divided, it’s more important than ever to have a space where you can breathe, vent, reflect, and connect. This open adult group, hosted by Connected Communities for Behavioral Wellness (CCBW), offers a safe, judgment-free environment to process the pressures of daily life, political and social unrest, and anything else weighing on your mind. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, angry, confused, or just tired—we invite you to talk it through, together. Come as you are and leave a little lighter.

First group meets Thursday, July 24 from 6 PM – 7 PM (virtual via Google Meet).
Meets monthly. Future dates to be announced.
