Happy Birthday to my Little Lady, Julianna Esther Hands. From 3 to 11, she has grown a lot, and I love every step of her journey. Julianna is loving, kind, smart, strong, patient, curious, creative, and a constant source of Sunshine. I am a lucky and grateful dad.

Julianna got her goal today!

Julianna played against Northern Virginia today. She is tough. Julianna took a hard tumble to the turf running at full speed when players feet became tangled. She bounced back up and kept ripping after the ball.

We celebrated Julianna's immense 5th grade and overall elementary school experience. Julianna received many recognitions and awards, but what stood out was the Presidental Award for academics, Honor Role every quarter for every year, STEM Recognition (one of only two given out for the entire class), excellence in the Sea Perch program (underwater robot engineering), and the Tiger Award for embodying the traits of just being a good human. Yet through all of that, what I really loved the most is Julianna's continued growth no matter the challenge, no matter her fear at that time, no matter the unknown on the other side. Julianna stuck to her beliefs and the process. Julianna has really shined as she exits into middle school.

Rain drove us indoors today, but movement and strength are always pursued. Habits build the quality of your life and mind. We worked on what we usually do. Core, hip, knee, ankle, foot control and strength. Balanced strength between limbs. Force generation and absorption abilities.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. We hope you spent the day with those you love, doing what you love to do. We took care of our bees and watched an Annapolis Blues game.
