🌿 Wednesday Wellness Tip : Unwinding Through the Spine

Your spine is more than structure; it’s a pathway for energy, movement, and release.
This week’s practice invites you to explore the Six Movements of the Spine, gentle forward folds, backbends, side bends, and twists done slowly and intentionally to help release tension and reconnect with your breath.

✨ Self-care cue:
“With each movement, I let go a little more.”
No fancy props or poses needed. Just you, your breath, and a willingness to soften.
Pause today. Roll your shoulders. Move your spine.
Let that be enough.

We’re collecting socks & snacks to support Food 4 Thought Community Outreach Services, Inc., a local nonprofit serving families and individuals in need across Anne Arundel & Baltimore counties.

As part of our Kids Yoga & Art Camp, the children will create care packages filled with:
💜 Clean, gently used or new socks (all sizes)
💜 Individually packaged nut-free snacks (pretzels, trail mix, granola bars, etc.)
💜 Handwritten notes of encouragement

Sometimes freedom begins with a quiet breath and a willingness to let go.
Pause.
Breathe.
Ask gently:
“What am I ready to release?”
“Where can I create more space?”

The Crofton Yoga Story

In 2003, Jacci Gruninger opened a one studio room, Crofton Yoga for Every Body

(CY) in the Chelsea House on Route Three in Crofton. Within the year she expended to a second studio. In 2007, Jacci, Shelbi Miles and Emily Gretz established Park Yoga, LLC and opened Park Yoga (in affiliation with CY) on Rte 2 in Severna Park. The three ran and operated Park for 18 months at which time Jacci made a family decision to move to the West. Shelbi and Emily bought CY from Jacci and Park Yoga was sold so that they could concentrate on growing the Crofton business. In 2010, Crofton Yoga was moved to its current location at 2431 Crofton Lane where it continues to support the Crofton and surrounding communities with quality, yoga for mind, body and spirit; YOGA for EVERY BODY.
