Thank you Lizzie’s Little Tykes Child Care for allowing our crew to visit today!!

It makes us smile seeing these kiddos face light up when the see our crews. Our goal is to help get the kids comfortable and familiar with our trucks and teams so if they do have an emergency they are not so afraid of us.

We also want to thank the kiddos and their families for the amazing donation of Teddy bears for our CAA Teddy Bear Toy Drive!! Our pediatric patients thank you!! 🐻

If you or anyone you know has a child care center or even a group home that would like a visit please reach out to Serena at sstoeck@crookstonareaems.org.

Did You Know?!

May is National Stroke Awareness Month. According to the American Stroke Association, strokes are the #2 cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of disability!

Strokes are difficult for those who experience them and for the their loved ones. Every stroke is different and while there are certain symptoms you can look for, not every patient will experience these symptoms to the same. Each patient is unique.

Do you know how to determine if your loved one is having a stroke? By using the BEFAST model you can more easily identify those potentially having a stroke. Time is crucial with dealing with this disease!
