Effective Immediately: Masks Required

In review of influenza activity in our community, RiverView Health has implemented broader masking requirements for patients and visitors in the facility.

Masks are required for the following persons in the following locations

🔹Inpatient Unit- Masking is mandatory for all visitors, regardless of symptoms. We strongly discourage visitors who are experiencing symptoms of fever, cough, or other flu-like symptoms.

🔹Emergency Department- Masking is mandatory for all patients and visitors.

🔹Outpatient and Clinic Areas- Masking is strongly encouraged for all patients and visitors. Masks are required for any individual with respiratory symptoms.

RiverView Health will continue to monitor the effects of influenza and other respiratory illnesses in our community and patient populations. The implementation of these requirements has been carefully considered with utilization of guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Giggles filled the room and special holiday memories were made during Rehab Services’ Sensory Santa event on Dec. 15.

Twenty children enjoyed one-on-one time with Santa and creative activities alongside Rehab Services volunteers, creating a joyful, relaxed holiday experience thoughtfully designed just for them.

A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful individuals and businesses who helped make the experience extra magical: Marion “Weasel” Henry for portraying a warm and calming Saint Nick, Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream, New Horizons Foods, Crookston Inn, and the RiverView Auxiliary. Your generosity helped create smiles, laughter, and joyful holiday moments for some of our youngest patients.
