✅ Greet patients and manage phones
✅ Schedule appointments and verify insurance
✅ Verify insurance
✅ Handle patient intake, records, and payments

✔ Strong communication, organizational & multitasking skills
✔ 2+ years in a front desk or medical office role (preferred)
✔ Team lead or supervisory experience a plus
✔ Dependable, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented

38 years. Wow—what an achievement!

Dr. Gander, you’re not only one of our three incredible doctors at Opticare—you’re a true pillar of this team.

Need a great eye exam? You’ve got it. Need life advice? You’re ready. Need a dad joke to lighten the mood? You’ve got a whole library (and probably a few new ones in your pocket).

From being our go-to optometrist, to serving as Mayor, and now stepping into your role as a Minnesota State Representative… we’re starting to wonder if a presidential campaign is next. (Don’t forget—you still have clinic on Monday!)

Life has certainly picked up speed this year, but through it all, your dedication to our patients and team hasn’t missed a beat.

Oops… We Missed a Milestone!

Apparently, we forgot to give a proper shout-out for a pretty big deal — Jodi’s 6-Year Anniversary! 😱🎉

For the past 6 years, Jodi has been one of our tech superstars — from pre-testing to contacts to expertly answering patient questions (sometimes even before they ask them). She's the kind of teammate who shows up before her shift starts — not because she has to, but because she's just wired like that. 🕖💪

Whether it's gently nudging patients for reviews (read: persistently chasing them down in the nicest way possible), or helping the day run smoother than a freshly unwrapped trial lens, Jodi does it all — and usually with that classic half-smirk we’ve all grown to love.

Here’s to many more years of quiet dedication, witty comebacks, and that big heart hidden behind the poker face.
