Usually an empty grave feels creepy or sad. The grave of Jesus from 2,000 years ago is still empty, but it give us *hope* because Jesus rose from the dead victoriously and is still alive. It's a promise that we can live forever, too. Jesus is sitting in Heaven, having accomplished all he set out to do in his life: live perfectly sinlessly and die to take the punishment of his dear children. And if we trust him and give our lives to him, we get to live with him some day in a perfect world where there will no longer be sin and troubles. Hallelujah!
1 Peter 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade."
