The Kinder Club paid a special visit to Cross City Nursing & Rehab for our annual Easter egg hunt, and it was a day full of smiles and laughter! 🐰🌸

The children had a blast hunting for Easter eggs and playing a fun game of duck duck goose with the Easter Bunny, while our residents enjoyed watching all the excitement and sharing in the joy of the day.

Everyone also enjoyed some delicious grilled hot dogs, making it a perfect afternoon filled with fun, connection, and sweet memories.

Moments like these truly brighten our days and bring generations together in the sweetest way.

Thank you to the Kinder Club for bringing so much happiness to our residents—we truly cherish these special moments! 💛

The residents of Cross City Rehab celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in the most festive way—by enjoying our 2nd annual mocktail bar filled with colorful, alcohol-free drinks and plenty of Irish spirit! 🍀✨ Laughter filled the room as residents gathered with friends, clinked their glasses, and sipped on fun green creations topped with fruit, whipped cream, and festive garnishes. The mocktail celebration brought smiles, conversation, and a little extra sparkle to the day, proving that great company and a bit of creativity can turn any afternoon into a lucky and memorable celebration. Sláinte to good times and even better memories! 🥤🍀

This week we want to take a moment to recognize Shayne Baumgardner our Administrator, who truly makes a difference in our building every single day. During Administrator’s Week, we celebrate leadership — but more importantly, we celebrate the heart behind that leadership.

Working in long-term care isn’t easy. It takes patience, compassion, and the ability to support not only our residents, but the staff who care for them every day. And that is exactly what you do.

You lead with kindness. You listen with understanding. And you support us in ways that remind us that what we do here matters. Because of you, this building is more than just a workplace — it’s a community where residents feel cared for and staff feel valued.

Your guidance helps us get through the hard days, and your encouragement reminds us why we chose this field in the first place. The compassion you show and the respect you give to everyone here sets the tone for the entire facility.

On behalf of all of us, thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and your constant support. We are truly grateful to have an administrator who not only manages a building, but cares deeply about the people inside it.
