Today in our senior living community, we traded stories for sculpting and turned a simple afternoon into an ARTventura! 🤲✨

This soft foam clay? SO easy to maneuver. Light, squishy, and perfect for hands of any age. You could shape it into just about anything your heart imagined—flowers, little animals, abstract masterpieces, you name it!

No stress. No mess. Just lots of laughs, a few "look what I made!" moments, and some seriously impressive creations. 🐢🌻

We always say it's not about being perfect—it's about showing up, trying something new, and having fun together. And today? We nailed it. 💛

🌸 A little color + a little miracle at our entrance! 🌸

We’re loving the fresh new flowers and hanging baskets from K&A Greenhouse in Verona – nothing says “welcome home” like bright, beautiful blooms to lift your spirits the moment you walk in. 🌺🌿

But here’s the sweetest surprise: when we took down our artificial ferns to swap in the new baskets… we found a mama bird had built her nest right inside! 🪹🐦 She felt safe enough to raise her babies here – and honestly, that says the most wonderful thing about our community, doesn’t it?

How amazing is our April “Dare to Dream”?! 🥰

April’s dreamer was Gia, and she wanted to see a lighthouse… so off to Milwaukee we went! 🌊

We visited the beautiful North Point Lighthouse, and Gia absolutely loved it. After soaking up those views, we headed to eat by the lake — and get this… Gia tried THREE foods she’s always been too nervous to eat: lobster, crab, and scallops. And guess what? She LOVED them all! 🦞🦀

Then, as we were leaving the restaurant, we spotted TWO more lighthouses we didn’t even know were there — Milwaukee Pierhouse Lighthouse and Milwaukee Breakhouse Lighthouse! So instead of one… we saw THREE! 😲🏠✨

When we got home, we surprised her with a lighthouse lamp and a fountain as a keepsake of this unforgettable day.

This is one Dare to Dream we’ll always remember. 💭💛

🎉🌮 Ole! What a fiesta-filled day we had yesterday at Milestone!

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in true style — with delicious tacos, cheesy quesadillas, and ALL the fixings. 🌯🧀🥑 But the real magic? The laughter, friendship, and joy that filled the room.

A special shoutout to the wonderful ladies from the Senior Center who joined us — you brought even more sparkle to the party! ✨

And because no celebration is complete without cake (or maybe extra guac 😉), we also got to celebrate our amazing Sales & Marketing Director Jennifer’s birthday! 🎂🥳 Happy Birthday, Jennifer — thank you for all you do to make our community shine every single day.

🧠✨ Yesterday, we had some very special guests—Katie Drew from Brighton Hospice Madison joined us for an eye-opening dementia training session with our team.

They brought hands-on tools to help simulate what it’s really like to live with Alzheimer’s and dementia. It’s one thing to read about it… but when you experience a small glimpse of it yourself? It changes everything. 💛

Trainings like this are so important—not just for learning new ways to care and communicate, but for deepening our understanding and compassion. Because the more we understand, the better we can love and support our residents.

So grateful for opportunities like this that help us grow together as a community. 🌻
