National Forgiveness Week is celebrated every year in the third week of June for offering forgiveness to others and seeking forgiveness from God. I don’t know about you, but I ask for forgiveness every day. We live in a broken world and it is a difficult road for even the best of us most days, we are human after all. But every day is a new chance to be a better person.

So how about this week, you start a habit of seeking forgiveness for yourself and offering forgiveness for others. Start by asking God for forgiveness for yourself and then ask Him to help you forgive others just as He forgives you. No matter how much their actions or words hurt you, forgive them and let it go. It doesn’t make less of what they did, but it will help take the weight of the emotion off of you. Forgiving others is as much for you as it is for them.

To be prudent means to act with wisdom and judiciousness. Examine your goals and align them with your purpose so you are taking steps to love and be of service to others.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
3 John 1:4

May is a month of fresh newness, ready for us to jump in with renewed energy to transition from the winter months. It's an opportunity for letting go of the things that no longer serve us or our purpose. Time to dust off those God-given gifts and share them with others!

Hello April!

Do your planning and prepare your fields before building your house.
Proverbs 24:27

How often do we jump into something without first planning? Do you have a plan for this year, the next 5 years, the next 10 years, your retirement? What about this month, or even this week?
In December of each year, I take 2 days to plan the following year, my goals, the action steps I need to take to achieve those goals, and my priorities for the year in all the key areas of my life. Each month, I take a few hours to review my month and make sure I’m on track with my original plan and then I plan the following month and revise what I need to. Then I make an outline for each week.
If I’m being honest, I have to tell you that there are some Mondays when I wake up and my whole week has to be changed because of something completely out of my control. But because I have a plan in place it’s much easier to regroup and revise than if I was just starting each week hoping for the best without an actual plan.

Did you know that this week is National Nutrition & Hydration Week?

Well, did you know that 🍏 apples provide the body with more energy than you get from 🧋coffee?

Well, did you know that unripe raspberries cannot ripen once they have been plucked?

Ok, that’s all the fun facts I have for you today, but let’s take a better look at that Hydration thing, shall we!?!

So many people often take hydration for granted and don’t even realize how quickly they can become dehydrated. Our bodies need to be hydrated to properly perform its functions. Make sure you take in lots of liquids daily, preferably water, to give your body the energy it needs.

No need to worry, I’m not going to challenge you to give up your fancy coffee, even tho an apple will give your body more (and healthier) energy – see above fun fact! But do you think you could increase your daily water intake for just 30 days? How about for 7 days?
