Happy Birthday to our Volunteer Arlene Mills. Arlene is a retired R.N. with an Associate's Degree in Public Health. Arlene assumes multiple roles here. She visits patients at home, works at our front desk answering phones and greeting visitors. She also assisted with the garden at Cumberland House and is always willing to assist with any task. With a distinguished background as a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she served as an aircraft mechanic with the rank of E5, Amy brings a wealth of experience. Thank you, Amy, for your dedicated service. Prior to joining us, Amy worked as a medical assistant and caregiver, honing her skills in patient care and coordination.

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Shirley Bradford, a cherished volunteer at Hospice of Cumberland County. Having joined our team in March 2025, Shirley has become an essential part of our operations. With her banking experience, she expertly manages phone calls and visitor interactions at our main office on Mondays. Shirley also volunteers with our home patients, offering a calm, reassuring presence that is deeply appreciated by patients and families alike. Happy Birthday Shirley Bradford
