Biography

Nature’s Healthway is the Upper Cumberland’s very own Holistic Wellness Center. Our founder, Regina Gilbert Rigney was born and raised right here in Crossville, TN. She is a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and knows first-hand how chronic illness can destroy your future and rob you of your livelihood.

Regina worked for years as a lab technician assisting physicians in the diagnostic process. After giving birth to her 2nd child, she began experiencing health problems that progressively worsened until she was no longer able to walk. Placing all her trust in the conventional medical system led to her further decline and piles of medical bills. After the Mayo Clinic left her with no hope of recovery and a future of symptom control with prescription drugs, she turned to naturopathy for help. The decision to return to school to become a Holistic Health Practitioner was life-changing as she began to apply her new found knowledge and reclaim her health.

Regina’s family has a genetic predisposition for autoimmune disorders. Her younger sister passed away after suffering for over 16 years from multiple autoimmune diseases, terrible side effects form numerous prescription medications, and additional complications. After witnessing her family members deteriorate with conventional medical treatment protocols, she was determined to find another way. Now it is her passion to educate others about complementary and alternative health care options and the importance of dietary changes and detoxification. It’s her goal to make natural preventative and restorative health care solutions available for all those who seek them.

Nature’s Healthway offers holistic products and services for everyone. We provide client consultations with bio-energetic assessments, infrared sauna therapy, whole food supplementation, homeopathics, and organic cultivated herbs. We continue to expand on our exciting line-up of organic health and beauty products, and are especially committed to educating the public with our free health-building seminars. Our custom blended herbal teas are quickly becoming a local favorite.
