Amen. Practice gratitude. đ
Let me say something thatâs uncomfortable, but true.
Complaining every day is basically prayingâjust not to who you think you are.
Think about it. Prayer is repetition. Itâs focus. Itâs intention. Itâs what you keep putting energy into. So when you wake up every morning and immediately start listing everything thatâs wrong, everything thatâs unfair, everything that pi**es you offâyouâre not just venting. Youâre training your mind. Youâre reinforcing a reality built on lack, anger, and resentment.
And hereâs the wild part: your brain doesnât care whether the input is positive or negative. It just says, âOh, this is what weâre focused on? Cool. Letâs find more of that.â
So you complain about your jobânow you notice everything wrong with it.
You complain about peopleânow everyone feels fake or against you.
You complain about lifeânow life feels heavy, hostile, and stacked against you.
Thatâs not bad luck. Thatâs conditioning.
Complaining feels harmless because it gives you a quick release. It feels like relief. But long term, itâs poison. It keeps you stuck in the same mental loop, praying for more of what you say you hate.
And the opposite is just as real.
Gratitude isnât pretending everything is perfect. Itâs choosing where your attention goes. Itâs saying, âYeah, this is hardâbut Iâm still here. Iâm still breathing. Iâm still capable of changing this.â
That shift is power.
You donât have to ignore pain. You donât have to fake positivity. But you do have to be careful what you rehearse every single day in your mind. Because what you rehearse becomes your reality.
So maybe the move isnât to complain less just to sound nicer.
Maybe the move is to realize that every word you repeat is a vote for the life youâre building.
Choose wisely whoâor whatâyouâre praying to.
