Mayor Laurin Wheaton has proclaimed April 2, 2026, as World Autism Awareness Day and recognizes April 2026 as Autism Awareness Month in Cookeville, highlighting the importance of awareness, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism and their families. This proclamation reflects our community’s commitment to fostering understanding, inclusion, and compassion while continuing to support those impacted by autism. 💙🩵
