Thanks to the Croton DPW and Village of Croton-on-Hudson Government our New Headquarters is close to completion. More pictures to come.

The Dept. of Public Works continues to make good progress on the Harmon Firehouse addition project. This morning, the garage doors for the EMS ambulance bays were installed. The project is nearing completion and EMS is expected to move into their new quarters before the end of the year.

Tonight Croton EMSs Captain Tiffany Gilleo, 2nd Lieutenant Stacy Conklin, Driver Eric Bohler, EMTs Mike Maldonado and Amanda Cowell, and Attendant Kaitlyn Maldonado celebrated the season opener for Football at Spencer Field. Croton EMS could be seen watching the game, dancing the Macarena with a few of the CET students during half time, showing their Tiger Pride with the mascot and cheering from the sidelines every time Croton got the ball. Despite a tough loss tonight, we remain so proud of the hard work and determination that the teams showed. We look forward to being there for our Tiger nation at every home football game! GO TIGERS!!!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William E McCabe I, father of President Bill McCabe, Associate Member Walt McCabe, and grandfather of Senior member Sydney McCabe and Youth member Killian McCabe. He passed away yesterday following an extended battle with multiple cancers. We kindly request the entire family be held in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.

Congratulations to Isabelle DeLeon, this year's recipients of the Charles J
Ellison Memorial Scholarship!

Charles passed away in 2017 at the age of 20, after an 8-month battle with
brain cancer. Charles was passionate about volunteering for Croton EMS and
we established this Scholarship to honor Charles and to reward graduating
seniors who show similar passion and dedication toward Croton EMS.

Izzy joined Croton EMS as a Freshman and has volunteered over 300 hours
through her active participation in training sessions, ambulance ride-alongs, parades, and other events. She will be attending the University of Rhode Island, pursuing a degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
We look forward to having her volunteer with us during breaks and summer
vacations.

Last Night while on their way home from work, Croton EMSs very own Captain Tiffany Gilleo and Training officer Ken Gilleo pulled up on a two car motor vehicle accident right after it had happened. This picture was captured and later sent to Captain Gilleo.

While on scene Captain Gilleo treated one patient for minor injuries who later refused transport to the hospital, checked over another patient who refused any treatment, all while Training officer Gilleo crossed over two lanes of dangerous traffic to check on and begin care for a patient in the other car, before the local first responders arrived.

As NYS EMTs, we are always on duty and so happy to help where and when needed. Happy to report all patients are doing well.
