David Carpenter – 85 Years Young
David’s early memories include being raised in Thalia, Texas, alongside his two brothers and one sister—David being the oldest. He remembers all the fun they shared and the lifelong friendships he made along the way.
If David could give advice to the younger generation today, he says: “Hard work never hurt anyone.”
The values that have always guided him through life are honesty, respect, and doing the right thing.
David has always enjoyed life, but some of his happiest moments came when his children were grown and turned out not just good—but truly amazing. 💛

There were lots of laughs, plenty of paint on our hands (and maybe a little on us too 😄), and so many cool abstract designs created by our residents. Everyone enjoyed expressing their creativity and making colorful masterpieces together.

It was an awesome day full of fun, art, and great memories at Crowell Nursing Center! 💙

There’s nothing better than good friends, lots of laughs, fun games, and making memories together. From colorful masks to exciting bingo prizes, everyone had such a wonderful time enjoying the fun and fellowship! 💙

To get in some exercise and build upper body strength, we broke out the pool noodles and slid some plates! 💪🎉

We had so much fun laughing, playing, and staying active together. Activities like these are a great way to exercise while making wonderful memories at Crowell Nursing Center! 💙
