We had an awesome morning during craft time! We unleashed our creativity and learned how to make adorable no-sew pillows. It was amazing to see everyone's unique designs come to life. A big thanks to all who participated and made it such a fun and crafty day! 🪡✂️

We were so honored today to be apart of this wonderful ceremony!

Mr. Woody, who is one of our residents, was one of seven local veterans to receive a beautiful quilt handmade by volunteers from the QOVF! We are truly grateful for their service!

We would like to say a big thank you to Miss, Teen and Junior Miss Crowley for coming and treating our residents with root beer floats. They even jumped right in and called bingo! Everyone had a great time! 🥰

Meet Mr. Woody - Proud Veteran, Happily at Home at The Acadian

After serving in three branches of the armed forces, Mr. Woody knows a thing or two about hard work. These days, he’s enjoying a well-earned break—no more cooking, cleaning, laundry, or yardwork to worry about.

Choosing The Acadian was an easy decision for him. “I heard so many good things, and I knew it was the kind of living I wanted—and needed.” Now he’s part of a close-knit community where people care for each other like family, but he still enjoys the freedom to live life on his terms.

Whether he’s behind the wheel of his Dodge running errands or visiting friends, Mr. Woody is proof that independence and support go hand in hand at The Acadian.
