Hey Guys,
Another Reason for this page is to inform you guys about different topics to keep your athletes healthy and fit for the season, to get ready for the upcoming season, and or come back healthy for the season. Rudy and I will be posting different topics. The topic I want to talk to you guys about today is NUTRITION. An analogy I would like to use for this is your car. When fueling up your car you with gas you wouldn't put in a lower octane or diesel if the car didn't need it right? You would put int he best fuel to get your cars best performance the same can be said with you athletes who need to right fuel every day.

Proper nutrition will give someone the energy to perform. One thing to note is the best source of all nutrients macro or micronutrients is from the food itself. Vitamins and supplements should be used to get what you couldn't from your food. Now ill explain some basic terms and add some photos and leave the rest to you! If you have any questions please ask me.

Macronutrients: Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats
-macronutrients are the absorbable components of food from which energy is derived
Micronutrients: Water, Vitamins, and Minerals
-necessary for regulating normal body function

Some last notes:
Remember if you are thirsty you are already dehydrated!
Eating healthy doesn't mean cutting out all your favorite foods but portion control.
Also, these are just general recommendations every sport has more detailed nutritional advice

If you want an extra reading or want to learn more I can send you the sources of all of this!
