It's true, boys are 1.5 times more likely to develop positional plagiocephaly or brachycephaly than girls. Boys have larger head circumferences than girls, the larger and less flexible male head is more susceptible to deformational forces in utero and during delivery causing plagiocephaly.

Last week we were able to attend a continuing education course on craniosynostosis treatment. Continuing education courses are a great opportunity to learn from others and develop new techniques. We were grateful to attend and learn from other clinicians all over the world.
