Our Approach to our patient’s Healthcare.......
Todd R. Waldorf, D.O. and Linda R. Waldorf, BSN, CNOR’s style of practice focuses on working collaboratively with each patient’s medical care team to help patients reach their optimal health. Dr. Waldorf has more than 20 years of experience working as a Board Certified Family Practice Physician and a Hospitalist, utilizing Osteopathic Manipulation in his daily practice. This diversity allows Dr. Waldorf a unique ability to treat patients medical and structural issues from an Osteopathic Perspective with the allopathic background to know when a patient requires a referral back to the patient’s primary care provider or specialist.
Dr. Waldorf is also NYS certified to utilize Medical Acupuncture which he incorporates on an adjunctive basis to compliment his Osteopathic approach along with a career interest in general nutrition.
Linda Waldorf, BSN, Okuden, CNOR is a Level 1 Certified Upledger CranioSacral Techniques Practitioner who is also a Certified Okuden (Level 2) Traditional Jikiden Japanese Reiki Practitioner. Linda utilizes both traditions in the treatment of her patients, in concert with years of Western Based Medical/Surgical Unit and Operating Room Nursing experience to ensure that her patients receive the best care possible.
Both Dr. and Linda Waldorf strongly encourage and utilize regular referrals to Medical Massage Practitioners that are actually operating independent practices in the same facility which will be known as, Creekside Natural Wellness. Collectively, we have found that, utilizing all of our various modalities of treatment, we have been able to have significant impacts on the lives of our patients, not only working to manage current complaints and issues but also in facilitating the optimization of their overall health to decrease their dependence on pharmaceutical management of their medical issues, focussing on the facilitation of the bodies own homeostatic mechanisms of health.
