Tysyn Santos Contreras, age 51, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Tysyn is survived by his wife of 28 years, Misti Contreras (nee Ross); 2 children: Krystyn and C.J.; mother, Esther (late Patrick) McDonough; father, Carlos (Ana) Contreras; siblings: Gloria, Donnielynn, Shane, Jason, Dina, Cristina, Juaquin, Rafael, Carolina; and many other loving family and friends.
Tysyn was a graduate of Santana High School, Class of 1994. He was a jack of many trades and enjoyed pursuing new knowledge. He worked at Lowes in Merrillville, IN. Tysyn lived in Hebron, IN for 18 years.
Tysyn enjoyed music ( He loved to sing. He would sing anywhere and everywhere), grilling and gaming. His favorite game was "World of Warcraft". He loved life and loved to travel to various places. He always looked for the positive in every situation. He was humble and always a child at heart. Tysyn had a great sense of humor and loved to prank everyone. He also was a huge Raiders football fan.
Tysyn was a protector of his family and his loved ones. He loved his family more than anything. Tysyn was a loving husband, father, son, brother, always placing everyone elses needs before his own. He will be dearly missed by all.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 10:00 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.
