March 13th is IUGR Awareness Day.

3–7% of pregnancies are affected by
Intrauterine Growth Restriction.

IUGR isn’t just a “small baby.”
It means a baby isn’t growing properly in the womb, often because of placental or medical complications.

It’s scary.
It’s high risk.
And these babies are 6x more likely to
require NICU care after birth.

Up to 40% of stillbirths are linked to undetected fetal growth restriction, which is why monitoring and early detection matter so much.

Babies with IUGR can face challenges at birth.
Research also shows they may face 
higher health risks later in life too.

But with early detection and careful monitoring, outcomes can improve dramatically.

Awareness saves babies.
