Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025: A Community United in Hope and Action!
Lopez Health Systems, Inc. and Las Sendas Rural Health Centers, Inc. extend their deepest gratitude to all who made Breast Cancer Awareness Month a powerful and inspiring success. From the Thriver’s Welcome on September 27th to the final events on October 18th, the community came together to honor survivors, raise awareness, and promote early detection.
Highlights included:
• Thriver’s Welcome Dinner at La Hacienda Event Center, featuring heartfelt reflection, prayer, and a delicious meal.
• Runway for a Cure at El Campestre, where Thrivers shared their stories and walked the runway in a moving tribute.
• Pink Out Pep Rally at Crystal City High School, energizing students with a message of unity and awareness.
• 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Windmill Golf Course, with strong participation and generous support from sponsors and donors.
• Participation &Educational Outreach through events like “Coffee & Conchas” and the Veterans and Community Fair.
• First Co****le Tournament, with several of the co****le community; honoring loved ones and encouraging screenings.
The organizations thank the many volunteers, sponsors, donors, and local businesses who contributed time, resources, and heart. Special appreciation goes to those who hosted informational booths, decorated storefronts, and helped spread the message that in this community, No One Fights Alone.

1st Annual Breast Cancer Corn Hole Tournament
Congratulations to the winners men’s division Matthew Mendoza and Daniel Delgado.
Women’s Division Terry Galvez and Jennifer Vera.

Thank you Mr. Cisneros and the corn hole community for putting the event together. It was very well organized and attended.

All the entry fees were donated to Las Sendas Rural Health Centers, Inc. The donation will be used towards assisting uninsured women to pay for a mammogram screening.
