After more than 13 years of dedicated service, we bid a fond farewell to our bright, smiling friend, Lynn Oman, as she steps into a well-earned retirement. Lynn has been a cornerstone of our team and to our residents —bringing not only her hard work and professionalism, but also her warmth, laughter, and unwavering positivity to every day.

Her presence lights up the room, and her kindness has touched us all. While we’ll deeply miss seeing her cheerful smile, we’re excited for the new adventures that await her.

We are proud to celebrate Shelley Tomlinson as this month’s Sunshine Award winner!

Shelley has been part of our family since 1992, and her dedication shines brighter than ever. She was recognized with this award for her incredible act of saving a resident’s life, a true reflection of her skill, compassion, and commitment.
Over the years, Shelley has worn many hats—CNA, LPN, RN, Risk Manager, and now serves as a Charge Nurse. No matter the role, she has always brought warmth and kindness to her work.

When asked about her favorite part of the job, Shelley shared that it’s the simple joy of visiting with residents. One of her fondest memories is sitting outside with them during the COVID-19 pandemic, enjoying the parade together—a moment of connection and joy during a challenging time.

Shelley’s compassion, dedication, and heart for our residents inspire us all. Congratulations, Shelley—you truly are a ray of sunshine! 🌞💛
