Horizons for the Blind is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired by increasing accessibility to consumer products and services, the cultural arts, education and recreation.

Horizons for the Blind volunteers and staff jumped into the holidays last week, trimming the office in cozy cheer. Guests are greeted by a glowing tree and beautiful handmade wreaths—thick circles of pine with silky ribbons hung with precision down every hall. Even the conference room is ready for Santa’s secret drop offs, with tiny stockings representing each of the staff hung with care, adding a touch of holiday magic to the space.

Some of our staff captured fall in Crystal Lake on their way to work today. Stunning red and golden leaves now fill the trees. Just wish we had a steamy mug of spiced cider that we could wrap our hands around.
