Excitement fills the air as we gear up for both Mother's Day and the beautiful sunshine! Our wonderful Residents have put in tremendous effort, crafting heartfelt cards to share with their loved ones. A special thank you goes out to Zita for providing the fantastic card kits that made this possible and allowed them to express their love and appreciation.

A big thank you to the student council from Johnsburg Junior High for spending a morning with us! We had a fantastic time playing bingo together, and they even shared some jokes that had us all laughing. It was such a joy to spend time with such kind and thoughtful individuals.

Chef Dayna truly impressed us with a wonderful cooking demonstration! She showcased her skills by creating a variety of delectable desserts, and the results were simply amazing. Each treat was incredibly enjoyable, leaving everyone with beaming smiles and fulfilled sweet cravings. A huge thank you to Dayna for the delightful experience. We're already eagerly anticipating her next culinary presentation next month!

We had an absolutely fantastic first day selling candy and ice cream! We were thrilled with the results and managed to raise a total of $317! All proceeds will be donated to Do What You Love To End ALZ! We are incredibly grateful for everyone's support. Our Ambassadors are excited to see you every Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the lobby! We are making great progress and are now closer to achieving our fundraising goal of $2,000!

Last year, we were incredibly proud to raise approximately $1,200 for our Longest Day fundraiser, and we were so thrilled with the generosity of our
community. This year, although the name has been updated to "Do What You Love To End ALZ," the core purpose and goal remain the same: to help find a cure to end Alzheimer's. We're kicking off our fundraising efforts a little earlier this year to hopefully double our donations. Throughout the month of April, every Friday, we will have our amazing Ambassadors selling ice cream and candy in the lobby. They will be there from 11 AM to 1 PM, and each item will be available for $4.00. We truly hope that we can surpass last year's total and reach an even more ambitious goal of $2,000 this year to support the fight against Alzheimer's! Please consider stopping by and helping us fight against Alzheimer's!
