In addition to treating patients in Illinois, Dr. Sypherd has participated in 24 mission trips with I-Care International to provide vision care to patients who do not have access to eye doctors. She has been to Costa Rica, Belize, Peru, Mexico, and most recently El Salvador. She and other optometrists perform free evaluations and provide glasses that have been donated.
