It’s common (especially in young kids) and—while it can be uncomfortable—it’s just a virus. Most cases resolve on their own with supportive care like hydration, rest, and comfort measures.

Here’s when to call your provider:
⚠️ Persistent high fever that won’t break
⚠️ Signs of dehydration (dry mouth, fewer wet diapers, fatigue)
⚠️ Trouble swallowing or worsening sores/rash
⚠️ Rapidly worsening or unusual symptoms

💡 Home Comfort Tips:
- Offer cold drinks & popsicles to soothe sore mouths
- Keep kids hydrated with water, coconut water, or broth
- Soft foods are best—think smoothies, yogurt, or mashed foods

🌿 We’re asking our Well-Rooted community to come together in prayer and support for one of our own.

If you’ve brought your child to our Crystal Lake office, you may know Jacki, one of our beloved nurse practitioners. She has cared for so many of your kiddos—helping them heal, playing a part in their wellness journey, and pouring her heart into this community.

This past weekend, Jacki’s young son was involved in a tragic accident. 💔 Right now, the Liggett family needs to be wrapped in love, prayer, and strength.
