Did you know there are different types of empaths? ✨💫

Being an empath means experiencing the world in a deeply connected and intuitive way, but not all empaths are the same. Here are three types:

💫 Physical Empath – You physically feel the pain or discomfort of others as if it’s your own.

💫 Emotional Empath – You absorb and reflect the emotions of others, deeply feeling their highs and lows.

💫 Intuitive Empath – You have a strong inner knowing and can sense hidden or unspoken energies, picking up on things others might miss.

Many new mothers experience overwhelming emotions after childbirth, but it’s important to recognize the difference between postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression. Both can be challenging, but they are treatable with the right support.

Postpartum Anxiety may involve excessive worry, intrusive thoughts, and a constant sense of fear or hypervigilance.

Postpartum Depression is often marked by deep sadness, emotional numbness, and detachment from loved ones.

If you or someone you love is struggling after birth, know that help is available and that you are not alone. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and healing is possible.

One of the most rewarding parts of my internship has been witnessing the power of good therapy in action. At Reign Counseling Services, we prioritize creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly understood. Therapy is more than just talking—it’s about feeling safe to be yourself, receiving nonjudgmental support, and getting meaningful feedback that fosters growth and healing.

This experience has deepened my appreciation for the importance of connection, empathy, and individualized care in mental health. Whether it’s helping someone process their emotions, navigate challenges, or rediscover their strengths, every session is a reminder of the transformative impact of compassionate therapy.

I’m so grateful for this opportunity to learn from Holly and to be part of a field dedicated to healing and well-being. Looking forward to continuing this journey and growing as a future mental health professional!

Anxiety can be challenging, but there are ways to manage and cope with it effectively. Here are some simple yet powerful techniques to help you navigate anxious moments:⠀

✨ Breathing Exercises – Deep breathing can activate the body’s relaxation response, helping to reduce stress and calm the mind. Try inhaling deeply for four seconds, holding for four, and exhaling for four to regain a sense of control.⠀

🧘 Meditation – Practicing mindfulness and meditation can help you stay present and grounded, preventing your thoughts from spiraling. Even a few minutes of quiet reflection each day can make a difference.⠀

📖 Journaling – Writing down your thoughts and feelings can be a great way to process emotions and gain clarity. It can also reduce the frequency of intrusive or negative thoughts by allowing you to release them onto paper.⠀
