Today we celebrate a woman whose dedication and spirit have touched countless lives at Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ebony recently received her 15-Year Service Award—a testament to her unwavering commitment and compassion. Over the years, she has worn many hats:
🩺 CNA for 16 years
🎨 Activity Assistant for 9 years
🧼 Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor for the past year

Her work ethic and energy are simply unmatched! But Ebony’s brilliance doesn’t stop at her profession—she’s a powerhouse of joy, known for her love of singing and karaoke that lights up any room. 🎤

And at the heart of it all is her greatest role: being a proud mom to her 18-year-old son, Lijuan Butler. 💙

🎉 Congratulations to Debra “Debbie” Patterson on 30 Years of Service! 🎉

Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center proudly celebrates Debbie Patterson, a true nursing legend whose heart and dedication have shaped our community for three incredible decades!

Originally from Chicago, Debbie made Florida her home in 1989 and began her nursing journey in 1995. From her start as a CNA to becoming an LPN, then RN, her passion and expertise have guided her through roles as MDS Coordinator (7 years), ADON (10 years), and now as a Registered Nurse Consultant with DCF for the past 1.5 years.

Beyond her professional impact, Debbie is a beacon of creativity and family love. She’s been married to Bob for 49 years, with 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild filling her life with joy. In her spare time, you’ll find her breathing new life into furniture through her hobby—and running her charming shop, Twice Upon a Thyme, in Dunnellon since 2020.

And when it comes to sports… let’s just say this Chicago native is a die-hard Cubs fan through and through! ⚾
