At the 2026 Institute Summit, leaders from Tampa General and USF Health-University of South Florida came together to explore how stronger alignment can help scale innovation and drive greater impact across our academic health system.

Earlier this week, nearly 300 team members, volunteers and Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC) members came together for our Volunteer & PFAC Appreciation Celebration.

It was a meaningful opportunity to recognize the compassion, advocacy and partnership that help shape the experience we deliver across our academic health system every day. Thank you to our People & Talent and Patient Experience teams for leading such a special event, and to the many executive and senior leaders who joined in celebrating this incredible group. We were also grateful to have President & CEO John Couris stop by to personally thank attendees for the impact they make across TGH.
