We agree supporting local businesses is vital to our community. Pass it on.
Hi All! 🤍
We do feel like we step out of the Box at Clifford to offer a unique experience, and we hope to see you at some of our Events This Year!
‼️In The Fall we can really get creative bringing back our Woodfire oven pizza’s, Speakeasy (shhhhh) 🥃
Elvis, Dueling Pianos, Roper Romp, Yoga, Bourban Dinners, Wine Dinners, Cozy Fireplace, and who can forget Megan’s Manor and our annual Christmas vacation themed bar called Sparkies ChristmasTime Lounge!
We wear many hats… Catering, Holiday Parties, Private Social and Coperate Events, Baby and Bridal Showers. And much more!
It’s an exciting time for us to think about those fun things, but yet scary.
It’s hard right now. 🙏 which is worrisome going into our slower months.
I do know It’s hard for everyone to even make It right now, groceries are high, rent, gas, and I've been told, time and time again, that you should never post negativity. It only breeds more negative comments, I get It, but I’m being real.
Business is slow. For everyone. I walk the floors every day, looking out the windows, and I see fewer people, fewer cars, and fewer customers than ever.
It's not just this restaurant. It's all of them. 😌
And sure, we can all cherry pick a day or even weeks when we were packed and post about it and we’re are very Thankful. 🤍
Heck, A couple of weeks ago, we had a line out the door. But that was then, this is now. Those few Summer Months need to carry us for the whole year. (Yes we stay open all year round) 👏
Restaurants are on the thinnest margins they've ever been on. Our food costs go up DAILY, and it's impossible to price yourself fairly against massive inflation. So, what are we supposed to do?
I'm posting this to be transparent and honest. - restaurants, bars, and shops - none of us can survive at 70% of what we were making a year ago. 🥴
If we want local businesses to not only thrive, but to even survive, we HAVE to put our money local.
Did you know that Most of the small business owners are the ones supporting schools, fundraisers, benefits, food pantries, churches, Big Brother Big Sister, toys for tots, I am Safe, hurricane relief help, and so much more to the community? 🙏
So, I am asking you, our community, to show up, or share, post, talk about us, and other Local Mom and Pop, Family owned businesses. Please
We Dont have multiple locations to liquidate for cash, and I certainly don't have a bunch of money sitting in our bank account to cover expenses "until things get better." 😏
The weather wasn’t the best this summer. It didn’t start getting warm till middle of June. Then It was so windy The staff could barely keep their eyelashes on. (Haha)
then rainy, super hot, had a few good weeks where everybody tried to come in, and then cold… What the heck!
If you want a variety of businesses to keep investing in this town, community, and neighborhood then please, invest in us. ❤️
Please know Im not complaining, We’re very blessed for all of you, Its just scary.
Kelly, Shane and Staff 🥰
