Before heading out for trick-or-treating fun, take a minute to review these simple safety tips from Sparky the Fire Dog and the NFPA:

💡 Carry a flashlight to stay visible
🔥 Choose flame-resistant costumes
🚶‍♀️ Make sure costumes are short enough to prevent trips
✨ Wear bright or reflective materials so drivers can see you
🧡 Always trick-or-treat with a grown-up and stay away from candles
🚗 Drivers — slow down and watch for trick-or-treaters

👻 Watch out for small battery-powered toys, glow sticks, and costume accessories that may contain button batteries.

Trick or Treating at Cuba Memorial!!

Take the Steps to Prevent Lead Poisoning
Lead poisoning is serious- especially for young children-but it's also completely preventable.
Steps you can take today:
-Wash hands, toys, and pacifiers often
-Clean floors, windowsills, and surfaces with a damp cloth
-Ask your doctor about lead testing for children under 6
