**City to begin specialized chlorine treatment early due to boil-water notice**
🚰 Starting Saturday, July 12, at 7 a.m., the City of Victoria will begin treating water solely with chlorine rather than chloramines.
🚰 This is an elevated form of chlorine treatment that takes place once per year and helps to maintain water quality.
🚰 This year, the switch was scheduled to take place starting Aug. 1, but the City has been approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to start the “chlorine burn” earlier than normal due to the need to increase chlorine in the water system.
🚰 The City received this approval late Friday afternoon, shortly after the City’s 3 p.m. press conference.
🚰 Elevated chlorine poses no problems for the general public, but dialysis patients and aquarium owners may need to change their pretreatment processes. (We are working with the Victoria Office of Emergency Management to communicate this to hospitals and dialysis centers).

HERE'S ROCKY - he came out today to show off! His scabs are gone and his skin is healing and ready to grow new fur. He wanted to pose with his favorite pillow and ours too. All you need is LOVE AND A DOG is the motto we live by at Pet Adoptions of Cuero. We are so proud of this little guy who could be "anti-human" for all he has been through. But just in the short time we have been able to truly care for him he is opening up to the love and attention. Keep watching our page as we continue to "show off" our ROCKY miracle. Cuero Home Health would like to thank the Knights of Columbus in Meyersville for their generous donation of 6 brand new wheelchairs for our patients in need. We are honored to accept these and will make sure they get put to use - but no racing!
