Stephen Lester, MD, FACS, general surgeon at Cuero Regional Hospital, is in the spotlight this week!

Dr. Lester has over 20 years of experience in the operating room. In the 3 years he has been on medical staff at CRH, he has added robotic surgery, as an option, with the DaVinci Xi, expanding the surgical capabilities at CRH.

Dr. Lester is passionate about educating the community, giving numerous programs on surgical case studies, hernia awareness education, and promoting the surgical services available at our local hospital so patients can trust their care can be delivered right here in our community, close to home. Dr. Lester has spoken to local organizations, the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Pilot Club, Men’s Health Golf Tournament, and the CRH Brunch Buddy Bingo group to name a few.

With local family roots, Dr. Lester is proud to serve DeWitt Co. residents. “It’s rewarding to care for your friends and neighbors living in a small community. We enjoy raising our children in Cuero, and feel honored to be an asset to the hospital organization.”

Today, Cuero Regional Hospital celebrated our seniors with Brunch Buddies & Bingo! We welcomed 46 wonderful seniors who enjoyed a delicious brunch, an informative presentation on Osteoporosis by Dr. Angela Watts Powell, and of course—Bingo fun! 🎲💚
