During this extreme heat, our ER has cared for patients with heat-related illnesses every day. This care usually includes IV fluids as well as cardiac monitoring and tests because heat can affect you differently if you have heart disease.

Each year, after employee needs are met through the Cullman Regional Employee Benevolence Fund, our Benevolence Committee selects area nonprofit organizations to receive some of the remaining funds.

This year’s recipients are:
⭐ Cullman Caring for Kids, represented by Director Steven Sutter, is dedicated to feeding families in need and protecting children from abuse.
⭐ Cullman Oncology Patient Program, represented by Jessica Nicholson, supports local cancer patients with needs that extend beyond clinical care, including transportation and financial assistance during treatment.
