A big THANK YOU to Curt's Closet and our hero, Fred Hankey! ♥️

It means so much to be supported by other incredible nonprofits in our community. Ashley Wilson reached out asking what we needed and then showed up and delivered in a BIG way!

What you see in these pictures is only part of it… there was a whole other truckload that LaNette Forsyth picked up as well! 🙌

It truly took family and friends coming together to make today happen at RWO’s Ridgecrest Center—and we are so, so thankful.

This is what community looks like. ♥️

✨ Together, we can make a difference. ✨

At Restoring Women Outreach, we are seeing lives change—but there is still so much work to do. Every item on this list represents hope, dignity, and a fresh start for a woman rebuilding her life.

If you feel led, we would be so grateful for your support—through donations, prayers, or simply sharing this post. 💛

Little things make a big impact.
Thank you for being part of this mission and for helping us love and uplift women in our community.

🙏 Please continue to pray for our women and staff as they walk this journey of healing and restoration.

We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to Restoring Women Outreach! 💛

A special thank you for helping us get a needed discount on water heater and some plywood—what a blessing!

Pictured here is Nancy Moore, President of RWO, with Zach from Lowe’s, who helped make this possible. This is more than just materials—it’s hope, restoration, and a step forward for the women we serve.

Because of support like this, we are beginning to see real change at Ridgecrest. We still have a long way to go, but we are so thankful for partners who believe in this mission.

Together, we are restoring lives and restoring homes.

Carol Berry recently met with Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry and former Alabama Secretary of State John H. Merrill at the site that will soon become the new home of Restoring Women Outreach.

The visit focused on the future of the program and how it will continue helping women rebuild their lives through recovery and restoration.

Addiction affects families and communities across our area, and efforts like RWO show how important it is for local leaders and organizations to work together to support recovery and lasting change.

A piece of history came down yesterday… but a new story is about to begin at the Ridgecrest Center.

The steeple that has stood over this property since 1982 or 1983 was carefully taken down. For more than forty years it pointed toward heaven, reminding everyone who passed by that faith still stands strong.

Our hope was to preserve the steeple exactly as it was and place it in a prayer garden for the women of Restoring Women Outreach. But once it was removed, we discovered years of rot and corrosion that made keeping it in its current form impossible.

But sometimes when God changes the plan… He creates something even better.

Our vision now is to restore the steeple frame, sandblast and powder coat it, and permanently place it on the property with the cross returned to the top ~ a symbol of faith and hope for every woman who walks through our doors.

As they dismantled the steeple we also received an unexpected gift ~ an old church bell.

For many years, that bell rang to call people into church.

Now it will have a new purpose.

At Restoring Women Outreach, that bell will ring each time a woman graduates from our recovery program.

Once the bell called people to come to Christ.
Now it will ring as these women carry Christ back into the world ~ restored, renewed, and ready for the life God created them to live.

Because these pieces will be restored and placed separately, we are looking for two special donors who would like to help bring this vision to life.

• One donor to fund the sandblasting, powder coating, and permanent placement of the steeple with the cross restored on top.
• Another donor to fund the restoration and placement of the bell that will ring for every RWO graduate.

If you would like to help make this possible, please message us or call 256-727-6531.
