There are moments that remind us just how powerful community and compassion can be.

This past year, Nancy Moore participated in the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Cullman County Program for 2025–2026. As part of the program, each group selected a nonprofit organization for a community service project — and we are incredibly honored that Nancy’s group chose Restoring Women Outreach.

Their team generously gathered laundry baskets and household essentials for our six homes, helping provide comfort, dignity, and practical support for the women we serve every day. These thoughtful gifts may seem simple to some, but to the women rebuilding their lives, they mean so much more.

Pictured are Sophie Harrison, Casey Young, Megan Cooper, and Theresa Cox — women with hearts for serving others and making a difference in our community. What a blessing these ladies are.

After collecting the items, they delivered them to the Hope House, where Kim Tidwell was deeply appreciative of their kindness and generosity.

We are so thankful for leaders who choose to invest in hope, restoration, and the lives of women working toward a new beginning. Thank you, ladies, for loving our mission and helping make our houses feel more like home. ❤️

Last night, Restoring Women Outreach had the honor of being represented at a Mental Health Resource Fair & Storytelling Hour in Cullman.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this—where stories are shared, hope is restored, and stigma is broken.

A special thank you to Ricky Browning for the invitation and for all you are doing to bring awareness to mental health in our community.

We are especially proud of Nancy for speaking tonight and sharing the heart behind RWO. 💛
Moments like these remind us… healing happens when we come together.

RWO is in need of kitchen cabinets!

If you are remodeling or know someone who is, please consider donating your old cabinets to Restoring Women Outreach. These will go toward helping us build out spaces that serve women working hard to rebuild their lives.

Nothing goes to waste here… and what may be “old” to you becomes a blessing to us! ❤️

Please share this post so we can reach someone who may be able to help!

She didn’t walk in strong…
She walked in broken.

But today? She’s still standing.

Because someone believed in her.
Because someone gave.
Because someone cared.

In Cullman, this is what hope looks like. ❤️

You can be part of her story.

These ladies work endlessly at the Ridgecrest Center… so we made sure they clocked out for a little fun this weekend! 👒🌹🐎🏆

Now don’t let these pretty hats and sweet smiles fool you—these women are some of the hardest working, most giving hearts you’ll ever meet. They show up week after week loving on others like it’s their calling… because it is ❤️

A few are missing thanks to ballgames and travel (because life doesn’t slow down for anybody 😅), but goodness we are thankful for every single one of them!

Serving others AND still showing up looking this good? We’ll go ahead and call that talent 😉

We love y’all big and are so grateful for all you do!

Huge thank you to Anthony and Dana Anderson for their generous hydrangea donation! 🌸

These will bring so much beauty and life to our space at Restoring Women Outreach.

If you’re doing any yard work this season and planning to pull up or replace plants, please consider donating them to us instead of throwing them away. Every plant helps us continue creating a peaceful, welcoming environment for the women we serve.

In just one day… lives were touched. ❤️

Incredible young women from Alpha Delta Chi at The University of Alabama came to serve at Restoring Women Outreach.

They cleaned, organized, encouraged, and poured love into every space they stepped into.

But their impact didn’t stop there…

After they left, they gave.

These young women sent in a donation to continue supporting the mission of RWO and the women we serve.

One day.
One group.
A lasting impact.

This is what it looks like when faith is lived—not just spoken.

To Lauren Claire Bollinger and each of these amazing young women—thank you for your servant hearts, your generosity, and your willingness to make a difference.

Because of you, hope continues. ❤️

UPDATE ON SHEENA ❤️

We continue to ask our community to keep Sheena lifted in prayer.

She is still in the Trauma ICU, but we are thankful to share some progress. The bleed that was a concern is no longer an issue. She has had a rod placed in her left leg and has already begun daily therapy.

She also has a fractured left clavicle, hand, and another fracture in her hip area—but through it all, she remains in good spirits and is being so cooperative with her care.

Prayerfully, she will be moving to a step-down unit tomorrow 🙏

This is going to be a journey, but Sheena is strong—and she is not walking it alone.

Thank you for continuing to cover her, her family, and her RWO family in prayer. Your love and support mean more than words can express.

Not everyone will understand your story…
because they didn’t walk through what you walked through.

They didn’t feel the weight.
They didn’t fight the battles.
They didn’t sit in the moments where giving up felt easier.

But here you are.

Still standing.
Still fighting.
Still choosing something better.

And that matters more than anyone’s opinion.

At Restoring Women Outreach,
we believe this deeply—
your past is part of your story…
but it is NOT your ending.

💛 Healing is happening.
💛 Purpose is still there.
💛 Your life still matters.
