FESTIVE AND FUNCTIONAL✨🎁🎄 our favorite combination!

We are so proud of every little hand that helped make these ornaments. Each handmade ornament gave our patients a chance to practice skills such as:

🎄Fine motor skills and bilateral coordination — strengthening little hands and using both hands together

🎄Communication and connection — sharing ideas and expressing choices through speech and AAC

🎄Sensory regulation — exploring textures and activities to stay calm and focused

🎄Articulation and speech sound practice — building clear speech through fun, playful interactions

🎄Following directions from start to finish — sequencing and completing multi-step tasks
