We are so grateful to have been part of the Together Toward Hope event last night and loved being seated next to our partners, Haven Counseling!
The Resource Fair showcased the mental health resources available to our community, and we want to say thank you to keynote speaker, Taylor Johnson, for sharing her story during the Storytelling Hour.
If you weren’t able to talk to us at Depot Park last night but still want to learn more about the mental health services available to the patients of Good Samaritan Health Clinic, we’ve got you covered.
➡️Here’s what you need to know: Our mission is to deliver sustainable, long term healthcare and all around wellness to the uninsured members of our community. Thanks to our partnership with the Stephen K. Griffith Memorial Fund and Garrison Gives Hope, our patients have access to mental health counseling services through Haven Counseling Services of Cullman, LLC. To qualify for mental health counseling, individuals must first apply and qualify for services through Good Samaritan Health Clinic.
➡️How do you qualify for services through Good Samaritan Health Clinic: If you do not have any health insurance, and are a resident of Cullman County, and between the ages of 19 and 65, and meet the household income guidelines, please complete an application. Paper applications are available at the clinic or you can print from our website at www.goodsamaritancullman.com.
➡️How much will my appointments cost: At Good Samaritan Health Clinic, we ask for a $20 annual service fee. Yes, annual. Not per visit. This annual fee gives you access to healthcare services through Good Samaritan Clinic, including the majority of your medications, at no additional cost.
🏥Once you qualify as a patient, we offer a full range of free services including lab work, dental extractions, hearing evaluations, select vision care, patient education, social services, and referrals for mental health counseling, specialty physicians, and diagnostic testing- completely FREE — no insurance, no problem.
🩺Patients must meet certain criteria to qualify to become a patient (uninsured Cullman County residents between the ages of 19 and 65 who meet the income eligibility). Please see the income guidelines on our website.
