A big thank you to all of those who came out to support MAPHealth at the Retro Trivia Night at Frog Level Brewing last week. Congratulations to our winners who walked home with bottles of wine from Biltmore Estates, gift cards, hats, candles, and a beautiful hand-painted landscape piece of art crafted by a local artist. One again, a big thank you to Frog Level Brewing for hosting as well as our generous prize donors. Stay tuned to hear the grand total of how much we raised!

Do you think you are good at trivia? Build your best team of 5-6 brainiacs and come test your trivia skills at Frog Level Brewing on July 13th from 7-9pm. Not only will there be cool prizes for the top finishing teams but there will also be a raffle with additional prizes. $1 from every beer purchased will be donated to MAPHealth so be sure to grab some brews while you compete for the title of Retro Trivia Champs!

Come join us in showing our MAPHealth patients how much we appreciate them! Join us on June 21st from 5:30-7:30pm in the lower lot of the Health and Human Sciences Building for an evening of family fun, music, and food. Make sure to get there early because the first 50 people will receive a free hot meal as well as free groceries. In addition to the food, games, and music, Blue Ridge Health will be there providing free medical screenings alongside Uncomplicated Kitchen who will be handing out easy, healthy recipes as well as nutritional information. A big thank you to Vecinos, Community Table, Blue Ridge Health, and Uncomplicated Kitchen for sponsoring our event.

Calling all interpreters proficient in English and Spanish! We need you here in Cullowhee and Asheville MAPHealth clinics to help us keep things running over the summer months. Here’s how you can benefit and some extras for healthcare students. No medical terminology or interpreting experience is required. Thanks to everyone who attended our MAPHealth Pint Night + Spelling Bee fundraiser at Hi-Wire Brewing. Congratulations to our top three finalists who went home with t-shirts and gift cards. We look forward to seeing you all at our next event. Stay tuned to find out how much we were able to raise!

Tomorrow, MAPHealth will host its 3rd blood drive partnered with the American Red Cross. The drive will take place on the first floor of HHS, right beside the clinic, from 1-6pm.
