🌟 Helping Kids Find Their Balance Through Play and Therapy! 🌟

Children use many senses to stay balanced as they sit, move, and play. A new study highlights how proprioception (the body’s internal positioning system) and visual motion detection (interpreting movement in the environment) play a big role in helping kids stay steady—especially when they’re on the move.

✨ Key insights from Your Therapy Source -

▪️ Dynamic balance (movement like walking, climbing, or playing tag) depends more on sensory acuity than static balance (standing still).

▪️ Kids who struggle with proprioception may bump into objects or seem uncoordinated.
