The CROWN Act was created by and passed in California on July 3, 2019. This law prohibits discrimination based on race-based hairstyles, in places of work and in education.

To date, the CROWN Act has passed in 25 states. We still have further to go; however, today we celebrate how far we have come. 🙌🏽
